Happy Thursday! 👋

We'll certainly be posting more about this in the coming weeks and months, but in the meantime...

Felipe Baez β€” the workflow architect behind productions at Accenture, McKinsey, and HBO's Emmy-nominated Q: Into the Storm β€” joins the show to break down what's broken in today's editor tooling and why he founded Nuvon, a privacy-first cloud built as an honest alternative to the hyperscalers. We dig into the upcoming launch of Kinora, the importance of data sovereignty, and what the cloud giants keep getting wrong about creative work.

You can watch Felipe explain his new platform on YouTube:

I known Felipe for a very long time now, and he's helped me on MANY projects - he's one of the nicest, smartest and hardest working people in the industry, so when he comes out with something new, it's definitely worth paying attention to.

You can follow along on the Kinora website.

Also out now is a new free tool for Final Cut Pro!

Eric Lenz writes:

Final Cut Pro colorists have long struggled with LUT-based workflows that lock footage into Rec.709 too early, sacrificing dynamic range before any meaningful grading can happen. KOLOR's new Colour Space Transform plugin brings DaVinci Resolve-style colour space transformation natively to FCP. It supports all major cameras and is completely free.

Finally, a fun post... Someone on CommandPost Discussions just posted some photos of using dual Blackmagic Speed Editors in Adobe Premiere Pro. 🔥

To be honest, I don't really even remember building multiple Speed Editor support into CommandPost - and I don't think it's ever actually been tested until now. Very cool!

Onwards & Upwards!
