Mat X writes on the FCP Cafe Discord:

Hi. I wanted to share my FCP Backup Manager app with everyone.

It's free. And it watches your Final Cut Pro backups in ~/Movies and ZIP's up the .fcpbundles to any locations you want.

I use it to backup all my clients' Final Cut Pro project backups on their workstations to shared storage where my Archiware P5 backups run.

But you can use it to move to any NAS, SSD or whatever you prefer.

Those Final Cut Pro project backups can be a real life saver. Also has MDM and JSON easy config options when you're managing more than your own workstation.

Check out the FCP Backup Manager GitHub Page and see all my free tools for Final Cut Pro, Media Trust, and P5 Archive on my main code site.
