FidelityFuze v2.7.0 is out now.

It includes the following changes:

  • Temporal Upscaling has been rebuilt from the ground up as a true temporal upscaler, and the biggest leap FidelityFuze has taken since v2.0. Where previous versions blended neighboring frames together, this release decides for every pixel, every frame, whether history is worth trusting at all. Motion, color correspondence, and local scene context are evaluated independently, and a contribution is only accepted when all three agree. The result is temporal accumulation that behaves like judgment, not averaging. Detail that repeats across frames is reinforced. Detail that doesn't is left alone. Ghosting is suppressed at the source rather than managed after the fact.
  • Temporal Upscaling now operates in perceptual color space, using the same human-vision-aligned algorithms introduced in v2.6 for detail recovery. Frame-to-frame differences are measured the way your eyes would measure them, as a single perceptual distance, not as separate channel values. Blending decisions are more accurate, more stable, and less prone to false triggers. Static regions accumulate with more confidence. Motion boundaries hold cleanly without compromise.
  • Because only detail that remains consistent across frames is accumulated, non-repeating signal such as sensor noise or grain does not build up over time, delivering effective temporal noise reduction that produces a cleaner and more stable image while preserving real structure.
  • The licensing system has been rebuilt from the ground up. Activation is now handled entirely by the companion app, with no network calls or license validation taking place inside Final Cut Pro. The plugin receives what it needs at install time and works from there, no delays, no outbound connections, no interference with rendering. Incomplete installs are detected and recovered automatically.
