Jumper v2026.02.25 has been released for macOS and Windows - and it's a pretty big one! 🥳

Overall, as you can see from the chart above, Jumper gave me the most consistently good results. Premiere came second, but has a few UI niggles that make its results harder to use. Final Cut Pro and Peakto can definitely find clips on most of the searches I tried, but they fell short more than I’d like.

New Features:
- AI Agent support: Jumper can now be controlled by AI assistants like Claude or Codex. You can read more in the documentation.
- Added a new more accurate and faster speech model for English. Does frame-accurate transcription of a 2h+ podcast in 1.5 minutes.
- Public API: Added a local Public API for third-party integrations. You can read more in the API reference.
- Global speech searches. Like you could already do for visual searches, you can now use speech searches across all analysed media, not just the media in your current project.
- Added
CSVexport for search results in Standalone mode. - Adobe Premiere Pro v26 support.
- Added drag-and-drop support in macOS and Windows for adding media in the standalone app.
- Added a splash screen when starting Jumper on Windows.
Improvements:
- Media Panel checkboxes are disabled while analysis is running to prevent accidental selection changes.
- Added pagination to improve load times in the People Panel for large collections. Thanks, recfocus and Claudio Domenicali!
- Added duplicate name checks when creating face collections.
- Premiere Pro UI: Fixed issues with dialog windows being off.
Bug Fixes:
- Searches no longer fail silently when cache files are deleted or moved. Thanks for reporting Youssef Toufik!
- Fixed drop-frame timecode issues that caused incorrect results or errors in speech/transcript searches.
- Fixed an issue where naming face clusters could fail or produce mismatched results. Thanks, Claudio Domenicali!
