Pinch and a punch for the first day of the month!

Ok, so this is pushing the boundaries of a Final Cut Pro related post, HOWEVER I did edit it in Final Cut Pro, so... there's that...

Regardless... Jumper for Avid Media Composer now has Group Clip support (i.e. Multicam support). 🥳

Whilst Jumper for Final Cut Pro and Jumper for Adobe Premiere Pro has supported Multicam Clips (and Synchronised Clips in the case of Final Cut Pro) for a while, on Avid it's a bit more tricky.

However, now, as long as you have matching timecode ranges, Group clips now work in Avid too!

You can watch a quick and dirty realtime demonstration of the functionality here:

You can watch a much longer and deeper dive into Jumper this FCP Cafe news entry from 10th June 2025.

You can also learn the origin story of how I got involved with Jumper on this FCP Cafe news entry from 6th November 2024.

You can download and learn more about Jumper on the Jumper website.

Krock.io now has a Final Cut Pro Workflow Extension available on the Mac App Store.

The Krock.io plugin for Final Cut Pro brings feedback, review, and collaboration right into your editing timeline —so you can stay creative and in control, without switching tabs.

For those that don't know Krock.io is basically very similar to Frame.io.

You can learn more about the integration on the Krock.io website.
